We just received this great thank you for the SCOGG Project school orchard project from Ryhall CE Academy primary school.
"I just wanted to send you a quick message to say what a wonderful time we had with Alex and Claire today. The time went so quickly and we were all buzzing! It was the members of our after school club (Eco Warriors, a mixed group of 7-11 year olds) who joined them, as a thank you for their commitment to the schools Eco work. We (because I have to include myself) had a lovely morning where we all learnt so much and didn’t want to stop - even though it was lunchtime! We are looking forward to finishing the project we started and then showing it in October. Regarding our orchard, each class planted their tree this week (x7) and next week the Eco Warriors and our local play school group will plant the last two. Our whole school Orchard naming competition runs until next Friday - and we have some lovely entries so far. Pictures will follow when we have our name.
