Grant for a new Card Project

Chris Hulbert, Vice-Chairman of SCOG, has just received a cheque for £2,000 from South Kesteven District council for our new Card Project. We want 6 high quality botanical paintings of our six Stamford area apple varieties - Schoolmaster, Peasgood's Nonsuch, Allington Pippin, Lord Burghley, Barnack Beauty and Brown's Seedling. We will then produce a set of 6 cards and a composite poster for sale. These should be launched some time in the winter of 2020 and exhibited in Stamford Town Hall.
