Updated: Feb 26, 2020

We had another very successful Apple Day on Saturday October 5th.

Several old local varieties were identified by our expert panel of identifiers.

We also had lots of people who had a go at pressing apples to make juice.

Ryhall Primary school put on a great display of the work they had done as part of the new orchard that SCOG had helped them plant.

The Arts Centre Ballroom was buzzing with people with all sorts of apple sot see and taste.

The children's activities were very popular.

People brought their apples to be identified.

300 different varieties of apples were on display.

Several new volunteers were recruited.

Different local groups and businesses put up displays and sold their products.

Apple Day was well publicised in the local media.
